In his long and accomplished career, Jae has practiced a design philosophy based around simplicity. He believes in starting with a big idea and weaving it with the project's program, context and client vision through an iterative process to bring the design's purest form to life.
As design principal of our Chicago studio, he leads multidisciplinary teams in crafting unique environments that reflect this philosophy. His ability to challenge conventional boundaries allows him to elevate client expectations, infusing projects with an energetic spirit that transforms spaces into engaging experiences. Jae also serves as civic design director, overseeing the design of many justice projects and ensuring those spaces are as rehabilitative as they are secure.
Jae has built a distinguished portfolio over his career, showcasing a range of prominent projects that highlight his commitment to thoughtful design.
