Our renovation of their America headquarters transforms it into a facility worthy of their status, refining their brand image in Silicon Valley and reinvigorating the employee experience. Our longstanding relationship with SK hynix gave us the insight needed to implement their core institutional values into the design while pushing them forward.

Centering Togetherness

To create a modern, functional and inspiring environment, the facility is designed to initiate connections between employees at every turn. This philosophy is apparent as soon as you enter the lobby, as skylights flood natural light onto an open space connecting the first and second floors. Openness is emphasized throughout the facility, which was previously filled with closed rooms and tight, winding corridors. SK hynix employees have a strong culture of eating meals together, strengthening social and professional bonds. To maintain and promote this, the new cafeteria accommodates more people and facilitates communal dining with longer tables. Work collaboration is also promoted through a variety of workstations and meeting rooms that cover the full spectrum of scales and styles. Togetherness even extends to the artwork, headlined by a custom mural meshing landmarks from South Korea and the Bay Area.
