Yun Lee, RA, LEED AP
Principal Planner
Yun’s belief in the interconnectedness of health and environment inspires her to design safe, energy-efficient and beautiful buildings that are easily maintained and easy to adapt.
For over two decades, Yun has designed science environments of various scales, from mega structures, small renovations and unbuilt projects to feasibility studies and campus master plans. She approaches lab planning with a focus on health and safety, always asking, “What happens when something goes wrong?” to mitigate potential chemical and biological hazards, maintain the required separation of labs, and choreograph complex flows.
Active in the lab design community, Yun is a member of the Association of Public Health Laboratories and the American Biological Safety Association and helped author an online design course for the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science.
