Norman Nelson, P.E.

Norm is a senior mechanical engineer with 40 years of engineering experience in building mechanical system design, commissioning, and solving building-related indoor air quality challenges; including moisture and mold. He has been responsible for mechanical system design and IAQ services related to building design, remediation, construction, and operation. He has experience working with various building types including schools, laboratories, clean rooms, courthouses, data centers, hospitals, hotels and resorts, convention centers, sports complexes, and other commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.

Prior to joining HDR, Norm provided mechanical system assessment, commissioning, and mechanical system design for several confidential clients located in Hillsboro and the Portland metro region, Oregon.
