Professional Services Director, Water
Mike Johnson serves as our professional services director for our water program. He leads our technical and consulting professionals as they develop smart, client-focused solutions.
His education includes both civil engineering and construction. And his experience includes diverse water facilities — levees, dams, pipes, pump stations, and water and wastewater treatment plants — and project roles — analyst, planner, designer, construction engineer, general engineer during construction, and operator.
Mike's passion is applying thorough analysis and creative design to our clients' infrastructure projects. He authored the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer’s Fargo-Moorhead Flood Risk Management Project Phasing and Scheduling Report. He also helped manage a 10-year, $140 million program to restore portions of the San Antonio River.
Mike’s a member of the Association of State Floodplain Managers, Society of American Military Engineers, Water Environment Federation and the American Water Works Association.
