With over 25 years of experience delivering award-winning, client-focused solutions in the science, civic, education and corporate markets, Michael is a meticulous project manager who guides teams to utilize budget conscience innovation while balancing client goals and maintaining schedule performance.
As project principal in our Raleigh, North Carolina, architecture studio, Michael is focused on growing and nurturing the studio, managing projects, building client relationships, and pursuing work in the education, science, community and civic markets.
A believer in the power of design to improve people’s lives, Michael views each project as an opportunity and enjoys navigating its complexities, connecting with the people involved, and visiting local communities to bring its collective vision to life.
Michael has presented at industry conferences, including Designing Libraries VII, Facades+, and the International Architecture Forum. He gives back to the design community by participating in design juries for North Carolina State University, Wake Tech, and Architectural Lighting Magazine.
