Michael Andrewsky, LLA, LEED AP
Senior Landscape Architect
As a Senior Landscape Architect at HDR with 18 years of experience, Michael works closely with project teams to better understand the site constraints and identify the inherent design opportunities afforded by the project site. He directs physical analyses of project sites with a focus on context, topography, climatic conditions, local culture, environmental constraints and vegetation which foster an adaptable site design.
He is passionate about collaborating with all disciplines starting early in the design process, initiating creative thought processes between the interior and exterior environment, and integrating with architecture. This cohesive design mentality is what inspires Michael to deliver a successful product that meets the expectations of both the client and his peers.
Michael is a Licensed Landscape Architect, LEED AP certified and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture at Rutgers University. His work can be seen in such projects as the Concord Cancer Hospital in Shanghai, China and the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, among others.
