As the director of community architecture, Mattnew plays a pivotal role in supporting our studios across the U.S., Canada, and Australia as they expand their presence and portfolio in community spaces, including libraries, community centers and sports and recreation facilities. His focus lies in fostering strong community connections and driving strategic growth. Previously, Matthew served as an architecture principal for the Great Plains states. In this role, he oversaw our headquarters location — a place deeply ingrained in the community fabric.
Matthew’s extensive 14-year career has left a lasting impact both locally and globally. His award-winning projects range from the heart of Papillion, Nebraska, to the vibrant cityscape of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. An active participant in the American Institute of Architects, Nebraska Chapter, Matthew has previously served as President of both AIA Nebraska and AIA Omaha.
