Ken Booth
Mountain Region Manager, Vehicle O&M Facility Design
Ken is passionate about creating positive and healthy workplaces for maintenance employees. His innovations have helped improve efficiencies and streamline extremely specialized processes — and in ways that enhance productivity and safety. Facility programming, master planning and equipment industrial design are right in Ken’s wheelhouse . Based in our Denver office, Ken oversees planning and design of many of our facility projects in the Western U.S. and Canada. During his more than two decades of facility design, he has helped some 150 plus projects come to life and improve operations for our clients, which include transit agencies, universities and the U.S. military.
Ken’s design philosophy emphasizes an accurate space-needs program based on operational needs and industry standards; this is because operations benefit from efficient workflows. And those are established by prioritizing functional relationships within an organization. His expertise has shaped highly specialized facilities such as the Cashman Caterpillar facility in Henderson, Nevada, and the Saskatoon Civic Operations Center in Saskatchewan, Canada. Be sure to look for Ken at industry events. He is especially active with the American Public Works Association. He’s also an avid baseball fan, who occasionally takes in a Rockies away game while traveling.
