John Hall, BSc (Hons)
Commissioning Director
John has 30 years engineering experience and has been with the company since 2012. He is an experienced director of operations with a demonstrated history of securing and delivering commissioning management services at data centers for global tech giants across the U.K. and Europe.
He's skilled in business development, client management, contract management, and engineering. A time served technical apprentice, he studied mechanical engineering and energy studies and graduated with a first class degree from University College Cardiff. John spent 5 years at Sainsbury’s engineering and energy team where he has worked on include the analysis of energy consumption data across the estate of 450-plus buildings and the introduction of normalized league tables, benchmarking and key ratio development, which were later integrated into an online monitoring and targeting program.
John then formed a controls integration company and Trend Technology Centre (CTH Ltd). A stellar project for CTH was the leading of the building management system design team for Heathrow Terminal 5. John developed a modular system of hardware and software allocation that lead to standardization and traceability of design and BMS commissioning. Key clients he worked with and maintained relationships with included Sainsbury’s, the BBC, Great Portland Estates as well as a large number of large mechanical and electrical contractors.
Since joining our team, John has been instrumental in building and developing our team of specialized Mission critical commissioning engineers and managers who undertake complex projects for our key clients across Europe and the U.K. The key to our team’s success has been the nurturing of new relationships with Global Data Centre companies. Ensuring that their objectives in commissioning of critical systems are understood and delivered to the highest standard.
