As managing principal of our Australian architecture practice, Huai oversees the continued strategic growth and evolution of the Sydney and Melbourne studios.

With over 24 years of experience leading regional growth, project delivery and talent at global architecture and design firms, Huai’s approach is founded on people leadership, strong design delivery and enduring client relationships. Her leadership style is described as inherently collaborative and inclusive across all levels of experience and seniority.

Huai is passionate about innovating across disciplines to solve clients’ complex, multifaceted challenges and delivering projects that generate positive social impact alongside clients and partners.

Based in Melbourne, Huai has been a mentor at the Australian Institute of Architects and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), as well as an active sponsor and guest lecturer at the University of Melbourne as part of her commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders and the architectural profession. She is also a volunteer at Fitted for Work, an organization dedicated to supporting women and gender-diverse job seekers to prepare for the workforce.
