A 30-year industry veteran, Chris applies his knowledge of architecture and design, project delivery methods, and master planning strategies to oversee HDR's multidisciplinary professional services. He is a staunch advocate for the firm’s ability to create innovative solutions to the most challenging problems.

A big-picture and highly organized thinker, Chris is well-respected for excellent communication and leadership skills and is an engaging, hands-on leader. He is skilled and passionate about building and leading strong, integrated teams of experts to help clients solve their most complex challenges.
Most recently, Chris served as director of health for the U.S. East region, where he led the health architecture program in our ten regional architectural offices. An architecture undergraduate at Princeton University, he also received formal training in hospital operations, programming, planning, and design and a master’s degree in architecture with a concentration in healthcare design from Clemson University.
