Aurah is a trusted advisor on federal infrastructure grants and is a sought-after speaker, strategist and team leader. She has a senior financial consultant with decades of strategic communications, community engagement and technical writing experience across Alaska, including as a former Department of Transportation and Public Facilities public information officer.
She leads our Alaska area grant program and supports infrastructure grant and strategic communication projects around the country. She coordinates with HDR’s national financial experts and local staff to analyze client project funding needs, develop grant strategies, evaluate projects and produce applications for grant funding.
Aurah has supported Alaskan tribes, communities, non-profits and agencies in successfully accessing over $100 million in discretionary grants in 2022 for critical community needs. Aurah is a skilled consensus-builder with experience forging strong and well-aligned teams. She is a superb grant strategist who is adept at weaving complex ideas and data into compelling and successful packages. She is known for crafting narratives that align with funding agency objectives and offer compelling cases for project support.
