Based in Louisville, Ameerah serves as the strategic communications practice lead for the Kentucky/Tennessee/Arkansas market, serving transportation agencies, water and power utilities.
As our water program lead and copper rule communications lead, Ameerah helps clients across the U.S. elevate their public sector brand and confront the unique communication challenges of the new LCRR outreach requirements through strategic communication, research, change management, and advocacy.
Ameerah utilizes her extensive background leading school-based programs, public school marketing and district communications to deliver communication services, working with multi-disciplinary teams and channels, collaborating on strategy, content and technical development. Ameerah was recognized by the National School Public Relations Association as a “35 under 35” in 2018 for her communications and marketing leadership within public schools and has affiliations with AASA and the Council of Great City Schools from her work.
With a more than 16-year track record advising government executives, being a media spokesperson and managing crisis communications and disaster response, Ameerah is a sought-after expert in communication equity frameworks, engagement analytics and content strategy, communication surveys and focus groups, internal communication and team facilitation, public engagement planning, multilingual and multicultural outreach, large website/application planning and video production.
