HDR's Ghada Elsheikh Named to Top 40 Under 40 by Building Magazine
HDR's Ghada Elsheikh, associate engineer, has been recognized by Building Magazine as one of 40 Under 40, which shines a spotlight on 40 professionals under 40, who are shaping construction in the decades to come.
The class of 2024 celebrates remarkable talent within the built environment, including site managers, planners, sustainability consultants and digital experts. These inspiring stories illustrate how exciting and rewarding a career in construction can be, offering rapid progression and high levels of responsibility.
Elsheikh is a chartered engineer with eight years of experience delivering hyperscale data center projects and dedicated to empowering women in engineering and closing the gender gap, as per her role as co-chair for HDR’s U.K. chapter of the Women’s Employee Network Group.
2024 was a successful year for Elsheikh; she also earned a spot in the U.K.’s Women’s Engineering Society’s Top 50 Women in Engineering, alongside being a finalist for “NextGen Rising Star London & South East” at the British Council for Offices NextGen Awards, which celebrates the great work of a professional under the age of 35 to the office sector in the region.
