HDR's Katie Fricke Appointed to ACHA Board of Regents
Katie Fricke, AIA, ACHA, LEED AP, senior health planning principal, has been appointed to the American College of Healthcare Architects Board of Regents.
The Board of Regents is responsible for driving ACHA’s evolution and serve as a group of leaders at the forefront of healthcare design. As the newest member, Fricke brings over 25 years of healthcare planning experience and a passion for the industry. ACHA certified since 2017, she serves as board liaison for the ACHA Communication and Outreach Committee and was the former committee chairperson of the COC as well.
Fricke’s primary focus is facility and departmental planning of healthcare and research facilities, aesthetic solutions, and the overall design of large, complex projects. She is passionate about creating sensible, customized solutions for healthcare environments that respond to the issues of the present and include adaptability for the future. She has brought her expertise to a variety of healthcare planning projects including strategic facility master plans, oncology, ambulatory planning, and women’s and children’s facilities.
