HDR Welcomes Lois Wellwood as Global Interior Design Director
Lois Wellwood, IIDA, IDC, has joined HDR as global interior design director. As a member of the architecture management team, Wellwood will promote and advance the firm's interior design services as part of its integrated, multidisciplinary design practice. Based in Chicago, she will work with teams across the globe.
An award-winning designer, Wellwood previously led the growth and development of interior design practices at global companies, including SOM, NBBJ and Google. Having worked extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada, Wellwood is recognized and respected for her intellect, creative problem-solving, design leadership, and grasp of emerging industry influences impacting clients.
She has extensive experience driving the contemporary workplace environment with transformational interior solutions.

An accomplished design leader, Wellwood understands how to harness talent and inspire team performance and collaboration. Skilled at creating a culture of creative thinking, she will focus on evolving and expanding a focus on design excellence across multiple studios while achieving business objectives.
