ENR Highlights HDR’s Role in EchoWater Project
A July 2020 article in Engineering News-Record highlights HDR’s program management role in the $2 billion EchoWater project.
Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District, also known as Regional San, is nearing completion of the largest and most ambitious project in its history. This advanced wastewater treatment plant upgrade is the result of a new wastewater discharge permit issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board to be met by 2023.
Along with program manager partner Brown and Caldwell, HDR helped Regional San formulate its plan by constructing a pilot facility to test and verify nutrient removal, filtration and disinfectant technologies.
