Coordinated Construction Supports Cleanroom Renovation

The Fluke Hall renovation consists of a 12,600-square-foot cleanroom and 75,000-square-foot of mechanical and electrical infrastructure upgrades within the four-story building. The heart of this project is the new Nanofabrication Facility semiconductor cleanroom, which was originally built in 1988.

The building was partially occupied throughout the duration of the project, including use of the existing cleanroom. Extreme care was taken to minimize the impact of construction for faculty and students within Fluke Hall. Three phases of construction allowed for the existing cleanroom to remain operational throughout construction.
