Matt leads computational design efforts that power a customizable process for driving innovative project development, connecting disciplines together for high performance collaboration. His strong technical background in advanced modeling and computational design informs the computational design process that blends decision-making with information-based metrics in order to deliver high-value design.
Matt collaborates with the design and programming team to develop appropriate parametric and computational tools for efficient decision-making and project metric tracking, overseeing applied research and the implementation of advanced computational design workflows. With a focus on project design, data visualization, data management and efficient project delivery, Matt possesses extensive experience in applying computational design tools to real-world projects, addressing the needs of designers to create innovative solutions.
Matt has taught workshops at UCLA, lectured at the USC BIM conference and is a guest critic for design studios at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. In addition, his work has been published in Architect Magazine, Interior Design Magazine and Healthcare Design Magazine.
