Jim Mann, Architect AIBC
Senior Architect
With over 25 years in the field of architecture, in addition to hands-on work in construction, Jim has a wide range of experience, with a particular focus on education projects. He is a regular participant at the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) conferences, and has a keen interest in how hands-on exploration and experimentation can be incorporated into the K-12 educational paradigm. Jim is an associate with HDR, and since being registered as an architect in 1999, he has led the design of several award-winning educational, recreation and institutional projects. He is known for his creative yet practical solutions-oriented approach to architectural design and building, enjoying strong relationships with team members, clients and contractors alike.
Jim serves as a mentor in the RAIBC Syllabus Program and the AIBC Architectural Intern Program, and is a leader in the Fernwood Neighbourhood Table community group
