ACTIVE LEARNING – 1 LU/HSW This presentation will review the research on active learning, identify design strategies in support of active learning, and present 6 different typologies for effective active-learning classrooms on college and university campuses. INFORMAL LEARNING – 1 LU/HSW This presentation will review the research on human learning generally and the informal learning environment specifically, identifying design strategies in support of creating a more cohesive campus environment that fosters learning. THE INNOVATION CAMPUS – 1 LU This presentation will review the research on innovation environments generally, focusing specifically on planning and design strategies that foster innovation on college and university campuses.
