A Park and So Much More

Rodney Cook Sr. Park Aerial Fountains

A fountain that brings the pipes in, filters the water, irrigates the pond, and pleases the eyes of people exploring the new Rodney Cook Sr. Park in Atlanta is just one example of many engineering features in the design that doubles as amenities for the community.

Robert Bryant, HDR planner, is interviewed alongside spokespeople from the Atlanta Department of Watershed Management, Trust for Public Land, and Freese and Nichols by Engineering Georgia Magazine, American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia's print publication, to understand how teamwork and collaboration were keys to success in the complex problem-solving design for Rodney Cook Sr. Park.

Read the cover story "A Park and So Much More" in Engineering Georgia's May/June issue to hear positive sentiments about the success of the project and its impact on Vine City and the greater community.
