Eric Stewart, P.E., CFM
Central Texas Stormwater Lead
Eric has dedicated his 22-year career to the public sector supporting clients throughout Texas. He is proficient in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and design, stream rehabilitation and restoration, and stormwater treatment supporting capital improvement projects.
In his role leading projects and people, he helps sustain and enhance growth by defining and achieving our vision and priorities for the stormwater market and strategic plan. In addition, Eric has a strong passion for his work and enjoys seeing the tangible results of projects that provide meaningful impacts on the quality of life within communities.
One of his most significant professional accomplishments was serving as the project manager on the Eliza Spring Daylighting project in Austin. The ecosystem restoration project received the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Texas Engineering Excellence Silver Award, which daylighted a spring-fed stream for the first time in a century. He has also been a part of several relevant multi-mission stream rehabilitation and Stormwater Control Measure design projects throughout Texas, having walked and assessed over 300 miles of urban and rural streams.
Eric is an active member of the Texas Floodplain Management Association.
