Graeme's over 25 years of transdisciplinary experience spans education, healthcare, science, and city-shaping innovation precincts that impact context and community, empowering him to design solutions to some of today’s greatest challenges.  

At HDR, Graeme leads a team of specialist planners and designers to deliver highly complex, large-scale projects that integrate human-inspired technical and creative excellence. With a commitment to designing biomedical facilities, he focuses on supercharging Australia's translational health science capability; creating transformative tertiary campuses; integrating biomedical science with research and innovation; enabling digital transformation through high-performance data centers; and preventing and responding to animal and zoonotic diseases through high-containment laboratories.

In addition, Graeme spearheads the studio's data-driven design capability and has introduced a dynamic, flexible, web-based 3D master plan tool that is revolutionizing campus planning and providing developers, universities and major infrastructure organizations with a roadmap for optimal building stock utilization.

He has worked on various noteworthy projects, such as Western Sydney University's Bankstown City Campus, the University of Sydney's Biomedical Accelerator, NEXTDC Merlot 2 and Merlot 3 data centers, CSIRO's Australian Centre of Disease Preparedness Part Life Re-fit, and Health Infrastructure's Viral Vector Manufacturing Facility and RNA Manufacturing Facility, to name a few.

Graeme is a member of several industry bodies, including the Association of Biosafety for Australia and New Zealand, Learning Environments Australasia and the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories.
