Dennis is an economist and financial analyst with nearly 30 years of diverse experience in both the private and public sectors. He helps clients solve complex problems using their own data and information and has transformed HDR’s Canadian economics practice into a high-functioning economics consultancy that delivers high value to our clients.
He has developed innovative client solutions in business case development, financial planning, cost-benefit analysis and forecasting. By incorporating risk and uncertainty into decision making, Dennis helps clients understand the various impacts of their decisions. Examining projects from a holistic perspective, he considers the financial and economic effects as well as the social and environmental impacts.
Dennis has provided testimony on financial and economic matters to Canadian Parliamentary finance committees. He has also provided expert testimony to the Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Commission, the Ontario Energy Board and the California Public Utilities Commission.
