Clarice Kinsella
Resources Program Management Director
”The best part of being a program manager is to be able to help solve clients’ challenges by connecting them to the best expertise, tools and processes HDR has to offer.”
Clarice has served the architecture/engineering industry for over 20 years and has managed more than $5 billion of capital projects and programs in the power, mining and industrial sectors. Early in her career, Clarice worked on the design of large power generation facilities. As she gained knowledge in contract negotiations, project management, and commercial assessments, she realized her true passion was to support her clients more holistically. In her current program management role, Clarice can help clients achieve strategic portfolio goals while improving business processes, reducing risks, and driving cost and schedule certainty.
As the resources director for program management, which entails power, oil and gas, mining, industrial facilities, and waste markets, Clarice combines her project delivery expertise with technological savviness to support clients in developing and implementing transformative strategies. The tools and technologies initiatives she has championed help to break down silos, reduce errors and rework, and allow staff to spend less time on data input and more time on analysis and decision making.
Having worked with dozens of private and public clients over the years, Clarice helps tailor strategies to their needs, building teams to execute complex programs and mentoring aspiring program managers.
Clarice is a strong advocate for women and strives to make a difference in her community. She is a graduate of Leadership Missouri, a statewide program to cultivate local leaders. Before relocating to Seattle in 2021, she represented her previous firm on the Business Council of Nelson Atkins Art Museum. In 2020, she received a STEMMy Award from Central Exchange in the rising trendsetter category recognizing her contribution to the STEM fields.
