Samantha brings over a decade of public and private sector experience in public relations, government affairs, crisis communications, and project management to our strategic communications practice. She leads teams and projects across the southeast to deliver communications strategies that are rooted in community inclusion and education for large-scale infrastructure projects. Most recently, Samantha has served as strategic communications lead for Lowcountry Rapid Transit, South Carolina’s first mass transit system. For that project she has delivered creative solutions for community engagement and been recognized by the American Public Transportation Association's AdWheels award and Transportation Research Board's Communicating with the Public award.
Samantha has been a longtime member of the Public Relations Society of America where she recently served as the regional lead for programming; she is also a member of APTA’s Marketing & Communications Committee and WTS.
She has presented on engagement techniques and tools, and the importance of putting the public first in planning, at several national conferences including TRB Tools of the Trade, TRB’s Annual Meeting, IAP2 International Conference, and National Association of Environmental Professionals Annual Conference.
