Samuel Faigen

Sam is an associate director and project leader with a focus on master planning and mixed-use community design. He has experience in complex, large scale projects involving the integration of multiple building typologies.

Sam’s project experience includes his work on projects in the residential, mixed use, commercial, entertainment, health education and city planning sectors across Australia, China and Brazil. Prior to his architectural studies, Sam spent a decade leading an industrial design team in Sydney and Hong Kong. It is this broad design experience that strengthens Sam’s appreciation for the full architectural process from concept design through to the nuts and bolts of built work.

Sam’s personal architectural interests lie in the fields of social and environmental resilience, the narratives of place and community, futurism, data-driven design and the creative realisation of untapped value.
