Matthew Cunha-Rigby, LFA, LEED AP BD+C, GGP
Senior Sustainable Consultant
An ardent advocate for integrating sustainability into every project to reduce our environmental impact, Matt’s experience includes architectural design, sustainable design, integrative design coordination and LEED project management. He has also worked in all phases of design and construction, from programming through contract administration.
His experience includes work on over four million square feet of LEED certified or registered projects, for federal, state and local clients in science, technology, healthcare, civic, and commercial markets. Matt develops innovative and appropriate sustainable solutions for every project, while bringing an enthusiastic approach to the design. He assimilates multiple, complex issues, determines the best way to manage the next steps and executes a successful outcome.
Matt is passionate about the design of our cities, the livability of our communities, the preservation of the environment, and the connection to place (bioregionalism). He tries to walk the talk and live as lightly as possible: riding his bike everywhere, cooking and eating locally and seasonally, and volunteering for the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and other local community groups.
