Chris Williges
Economics and Statistics Director
Chris brings 25 years of transportation planning, economics, engineering and strategic assignments experience to his role as our director of economics. He’s passionate about helping clients make better informed transportation planning and maintenance decisions.
To accomplish this, he uses and oversees the development of a wide range of analysis tools. They include revenue forecasting tools, regional economic models, benefit-cost and financial models, travel demand models, traffic simulation models and asset management systems.
He recently helped develop an updatable desk reference and tools for estimating the economic feasibility of connected vehicles. It looks at the local, regional and state-wide economic development benefits and costs associated with purchasing, installing and maintaining connected vehicle technology.
Chris is also a member and friend of several Transit Research Board committees.
