Exploring Key Stormwater Green Infrastructure Developments with HDR’s Alex Miller

Green infrastructure design and construction serve as vehicles for numerous physical and landscape improvements in communities. However, a 2023 Water Environment Federation survey revealed that nearly half of U.S.-based stormwater managers require additional technical guidance and information on selecting, designing and assessing efficacy, and managing life-cycle costs of green infrastructure. 

Today, a new tool is emerging to enhance access to technical information. In the article "Digital Map to Provide One-Click Access to Local Green Infrastructure Guidance," HDR’s Alex Miller discusses his collaboration with the WEF Stormwater Community's Green Infrastructure team in developing the tool and its potential to support stormwater managers in achieving their objectives.
