Alese brings a wealth of experience and a diverse portfolio to our sports and recreation design practice. Her professional journey, spanning 16 years, has taken her through vibrant cities such as Seattle, Minneapolis and Iowa City, enriching her expertise and shaping her unique design perspective.

She is particularly passionate about growing and advancing our design portfolio across sports and event venue project typologies. Alese thrives on creating spaces where people gather for unique and thrilling experiences, drawing inspiration from the energy of athletes and fans to craft exceptional interior environments tailored to high-performance standards. Her love for variety and new challenges fuels her creativity and innovation in every project she undertakes. She works collaboratively and builds relationships with engineers, contractors, industry partners and consultants to uncover interdisciplinary design opportunities crucial to achieving project excellence. 

Significant accomplishments and a prominent portfolio mark Alese’s professional background. A notable highlight of her career is the Voxman School of Music, which won numerous awards and set a new benchmark for elevated interior design for higher education concert venues and teaching facilities. Other prominent projects include the Greensburg Indoor Sports Complex Athletic Medicine and Athletic Dining Facility at Penn State, Jack Trice Stadium’s Sukup South Club Endzone at Iowa State University and the Carver-Hawkeye Arena Addition and Renovation at the University of Iowa.

Beyond her project work, Alese impacts the industry through her thought leadership and community involvement. She is a proud member of the International Interior Design Association, having served in various roles on the board for the Great Plains Chapter and participated in industry and student-engaging events.
