Advanced Technology Research Facility Data Center
All-Inclusive Design for a High-Performance Data Center
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) requires high-performance data capacity to assist with its large-scale genome sequencing, helping researchers manipulate data on brain, lung and ovarian cancers and making the data readily available to other researchers and to the public. HDR provided architectural, engineering and information technology design services for NCI's new advanced technology research facilities and their existing Fort Detrick data centers.
Key Features Include:
- Rack systems and computing environments designed for IT enterprise and research
- All systems designed to meet the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) stringent power, cooling and cyber infrastructure criteria
- High speed connectivity between the two facilities on campus supporting high performance computing research needs
