Peter Nel

Drawing on his experience expanding businesses into new markets and regions, including Africa, New Zealand, the Middle East and Australia, Peter is responsible for growing HDR’s core capabilities within the Defence, resources and water sectors within Australia and the Middle East. His day to day responsibilities include anything from client relationship management, to operational leadership and project delivery. Peter’s strengths lie in building high performing teams and focusing on client success.

Peter has over 28 years of global experience within the engineering, construction and asset management industries, delivering infrastructure projects from concept study to handover. His reputation for leading teams and developing and implementing strategies for project and business success complements our people and project delivery focused approach.

One of Peter’s standout career highlights was the development of a fast-tracked research university project from concept to handover in Abu Dhabi.
