Matt Stone, P.E.

Matt uses his nearly three decades of experience in highway design and traffic engineering in his role as our global director of highways. Matt works with our staff in offices across the United States, Canada, the U.K., the Middle East and Australia. Based in Anchorage, he has served in leadership roles on numerous key infrastructure projects across Alaska.

His primary responsibility is maintaining our high level of technical proficiency and quality deliverables across the scores of highway projects we do each year.

Matt has extensive experience as a consultant, but he began his career in the Army as an engineer officer, where he gained valuable leadership skills. He is also very active in industry organisations, including acting as the co-chair of the Alaska Department of Transportation Commissioners Steering Committee and serving multiple terms as national director of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Alaska.
