As managing director of our Australian practice, Mark is responsible for our ongoing operations and continued growth in the engineering, architecture and building engineering services markets within Australia. He leads a team of 200 professionals, working in and across projects for our clients across Australia and beyond.

With over 30 years of experience in transport and infrastructure engineering, Mark has managed and led large multi-disciplinary teams on a number of transportation projects through the concept planning, preliminary and detailed design phases. He has proven expertise in highway planning and design, rail projects, approvals and key stakeholder engagement — both within teams and also supporting through project director/board member roles.
Mark has held senior roles on a number of signature projects in South East Queensland, such as:

  • SAFELINK Alliance (Ipswich Motorway Wacol to Darra)
  • Ipswich Motorway Planning
  • Gateway Upgrade South D&C
  • Various Bruce Highway Planning and Design Upgrades
  • Centenary Motorway Planning
  • Kenmore Bypass Planning
  • Moreton Bay Rail Planning, Design and Construction
  • Gold Coast Airport Planning

Mark is actively involved in a range of community and industry organisations which support inclusion, career development and mental health. He has actively participated in industry associations for many years, including as the Chair of the Mental Health Ambassador's Network for Consult Australia and Chair of the Infrastructure Association of Queensland. He is currently a Mentor in the Roads Australia Fellowship program, and a Fellow of Engineers Australia.
