
Mark Fairweather, RPEQ, CPEng
Regional Business Development Director
With over 30 years of experience in transport and infrastructure engineering, Mark has managed and led large multidisciplinary teams on various transportation projects through the concept planning, preliminary and detailed design phases. He has proven experience in highway planning and design, rail projects, approvals and key stakeholder engagement — both within teams and supporting through project director/board member roles.
Mark has held senior leadership roles on many signature projects in South East Queensland, including:
- Coomera Connector Stage 1: Central, Helensvale Road to Smith Street Motorway
- Coomera Connector Stage 1: South, Smith Street Motorway to Nerang – Broadbeach Road
- M1 Burleigh to Palm Beach (B2PB) Preliminary and Detailed Design

- SAFELINK Alliance (Ipswich Motorway Wacol to Darra)
- Ipswich Motorway Planning
- Gateway Upgrade Project D&C
- Various Bruce Highway Planning and Design Upgrades

- Kenmore Bypass Planning
- Moreton Bay Rail Planning, Design and Construction
Mark will lead business development and market strategy in this role to drive growth in our transportation business across Australia. He will work with our operations and project teams to enhance our client experience through collaborative relationships and support our global market sector and regional business group leaders to enhance client partnerships, support our core program and pursue cross-business group opportunities.
Additionally, Mark is involved in various community and industry organisations that support inclusion, career development and mental health. He has actively participated in industry associations for many years, including as the chair of the Mental Health Ambassador's Network for Consult Australia and chair of the Infrastructure Association of Queensland. He is currently a mentor in the Roads Australia Fellowship Program, and a Fellow of Engineers Australia.
