As a registered architect in over 15 countries and states, Ahmad serves in many capacities as a global leader in the healthcare, science, higher education, civic and justice programs. He has a thorough understanding of the local cultures, business climates and infrastructure needs of many specific regions. His rare ability to lead projects that span geographic, political and cultural boundaries has successfully led to important projects across multiple continents. He is currently leading the design of major healthcare, science, and civic projects in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
His experience includes the design of technically challenging facilities for which he has provided creative design solutions for projects in advanced research fields such as nanotechnology, metrology, material sciences and quantum computing.
Ahmad currently serves as President-Elect on the Executive Board for the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST), a multidisciplinary, international society of professionals with recognized expertise in the areas of contamination control/cleanrooms, environmental testing and nanotechnology facilities.
Ahmad is a lauded published author and speaker and he is known globally as an expert in designing technologically complex and sustainable buildings that advance science and health and improve the quality of life.
