With over 30 years of experience delivering award-winning, client-focused solutions, Michael’s expertise spans all aspects of architectural practice, from design and delivery to management, operations and business development. He excels at navigating project complexities, connecting with stakeholders and engaging with local communities to bring their collective vision to life.
Based in our Raleigh, North Carolina, architecture studio, Michael is responsible for establishing and maintaining connections that lead to new work with city, county and state agencies in Eastern North Carolina. His extensive portfolio includes collaborations with esteemed organizations across various states, including the Smithsonian Institution and DC Public Libraries in Washington, D.C.; the City of Raleigh, Durham County and Orange County in North Carolina; Geauga County in Ohio; and St. John the Baptist Parish in Louisiana.
Michael is involved in local design and business communities, actively participating in the American Institute of Architects and the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. He contributes to the industry through thought leadership, presenting at conferences such as the International Architectural Forum, Facades+ Conference, Designing Libraries Conference and the Building Enclosure Council Fenestration Symposium. Additionally, he supports the next generation of designers as a visiting critic at North Carolina State University, Wake Tech and the Savannah College of Art and Design.
