New Sydney University Building to Accelerate Health Research and Teaching
An article titled “New Sydney University building to accelerate health research and teaching” has been published in Commercial Real Estate and features commentary from HDR National Director of Education and Science Graeme Spencer on the University of Sydney's Sydney Biomedical Accelerator project, which has been designed in collaboration with Denton Corker Marshall. In the article, Graeme addresses the significance of designing for the wellbeing of researchers, educators and students, and delivering highly complex, adaptable education and laboratory research facilities with human-centred design at the heart.
He goes on to explain why architectural firms like HDR, in partnership with university precincts, are pushing the boundaries in an era where education, healthcare, engineering, and science are converging.
