Nitin Katiyar, P.E., ENV SP
Water Resources Project Manager
Nitin is our national stormwater modeling practice lead as well as the landside modeling group lead at our Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, office.
He's passionate about providing optimized solutions to utilities, especially on large climate resilience and gray-green infrastructure planning projects.
Nitin’s experience spans the whole water modeling gamut— including watershed assessments requiring hydrology and hydraulics, evaluation studies for combined sewer overflows/sanitary sewer overflows, point and non-point source pollution allocation, and large infrastructure planning and performance evaluation.
Having worked on major projects with a significant impact on protecting water resources and infrastructure across the U.S., Nitin serves on national committees with the Water Environment Federation to help set industry standards. As a recognized leader in the field of water modeling, he took on the role of vice-chair for the production of a WEF comprehensive modeling manual called “Stormwater, Watershed, and Receiving Water Quality Modeling.”
