Kevin is our intermodal transportation planning lead, with more than 30 years of experience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry. With over 30 years of experience, Keller has worked with state and federal agencies, freight railroads, port authorities, and other clients across North and Central America. He is a recognized expert in state rail plan development, federal grant application strategy and development, National Environmental Policy Act strategy, and intermodal facility planning. His broad-reaching planning and analysis skills include capital and long-range planning, intermodal facility economic analyses, environmental permitting, engineering design, and service planning and operations.
For nearly 15 years he has specialized in grant writing, primarily for ports and rail owners. He has helped more than 25 port and rail clients successfully obtain more than $400 million in grant funding. Kevin has served in numerous leadership roles with industry organizations and is currently chair of the Transportation Research Board’s Freight Rail Committee, a board member of the Inland Rivers, Ports, and Terminals Association, and chairman of the board for the US/Panama Business Council. Kevin is well known to the U.S. Department of Transportation modal agencies, including the Federal Railroad Administration, the Maritime Administration, as well as the U.S. Surface Transportation Board.
