Australia Gender Pay Gap Report
Workplace Gender Equality Agency Statement
The employment relationship between HDR and its staff members relies on the mutual application of the values of the company: respect, integrity, continuous improvement, empowerment, open communication, innovation, teamwork, employee development and responsibility.
Our 2023 WGEA findings shows gender pay imbalance occurs in parts of our business, just as it occurs across our industries. Certain areas of our business perform above industry averages, while others are at the beginning of their journeys.
As employee-owners, we all have a role in creating an inclusive environment where each of us feel welcomed, valued, respected and empowered to bring our authentic selves to work every day. Recognising we have work to do, we have a strategic plan and a commitment to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace through our Inclusion, Diversity and Equity initiatives.
Our ID&E initiatives are meant to drive real change, such as implementing inclusive leadership and culture training, enhancing transparency and access to professional development programs, and establishment of Employee Network Groups. HDR strives to have all employees treated equally and recognised for their contributions through hiring, promotions, and opportunities to advance to senior leadership positions. We undertake an annual remuneration and promotions process, including reviewing the gender pay gap.
We are on track with our global strategic plan, which is our continuous effort to achieve great things at HDR. We remain committed to making further cultural changes to achieve improvement in our gender pay gap.
