Niyanta Gopal Joins HDR in Kansas City Architecture Studio

Niyanta Gopal, AIA, NCARB, LSSYB, has joined HDR as studio leader in the Kansas City, Missouri, architecture studio. In this role, Gopal will help shape the future of HDR’s architecture efforts in the region and bring top talent to the firm.

Gopal is passionate about creating environments that not only enhance the healing of patients and comfort of families, but also support care providers physically and mentally to allow them to deliver the best care.

“The most satisfying feeling is to walk a completed space and feel the energy of all the people utilizing the new care environment once it’s fully operational,” Gopal said. “I am excited to grow my experience with the number one healthcare design firm and to delve deeper into the research, case studies and expertise available in the HDR network of subject matter experts.”

Gopal comes to HDR from BSA LifeStructures where she spent 11 years honing her skills as a designer, architect and architectural lead. She earned her Master of Architecture degree at the University of Kansas.
