Anisha Kothari Promoted to Principal Planner

Anisha Kothari has been promoted to principal planner for HDR's education and science practice. 

As principal planner, Kothari will oversee all aspects of the planning process, from initial client meetings to final deliverables, to ensure quality and innovative planning solutions. She will also build and develop client relationships, participate in industry conferences and events, and contribute valuable insights inside and outside the firm.

"Since joining HDR in 2007, Anisha has steadily expanded her programming and planning skills to a point where she is now a master of her craft and well deserving of her promotion to principal planner," said Global Education & Science Director Steve Riojas. "Her knowledge of the research environment, intellectual interest in life sciences, and genuine care for our clients inspire us all."

"I am excited to learn more about the business and build upon the client relationships from a business development perspective," Kothari said. "This transition will allow me to better focus and spend time on evolving industry trends, build on benchmarking and metrics, and identify key drivers for changes that may impact labs in the future."

In her first year as principal planner, Kothari's goal is to help facilitate knowledge sharing between our principal planners and lab planning staff. She believes bridging this gap will enable HDR teams to tap into and continue building bench depth. She also hopes to help formalize a plan for improved onboarding, training, succession planning, and deeper learning for all lab planning staff.
