Doug Jackson, P.E.
Transportation Principal Program Manager
“In recent years, transportation programs have steadily become more complex and bigger. These mega-projects require new thinking, including consideration of new delivery methods to handle the added complexity. Program management is an important part of making those decisions.”
Long-term planning and a big picture approach are nothing new to Doug. A principal program manager with more than 25 years of transportation industry experience, he has led major, complex infrastructure projects for rail, highways and transit, from concept development through design and construction and into operation. Currently he is serving as the principal program manager for the Ontario Line transit project in Toronto.
Doug has worked on projects for public owners across North America using nearly every delivery method. His passion for achieving the best long-term result and his knowledge of the intricacies of alternative delivery and procurement have helped guide multiple clients as they determine the best delivery method or methods for their most complex projects and programs.
Doug’s solid industry reputation for successfully delivering high-risk and fast-tracked transportation infrastructure programs and mega-projects is built on leadership and senior advisory roles on high-profile projects, including the Council Bluffs Interstate System in Iowa, the Mountain View Corridor in Utah and the Ontario Line.
