Valerie leads our San Diego architecture studio, bringing over two decades of experience in creating innovative and sustainable environments. Specializing in education, science and community projects, Valerie champions design excellence and forward-thinking solutions that meet the diverse needs of clients and stakeholders.
Her expertise spans various building types, from theaters and airports to courthouses and laboratories. Known for her hands-on management style, Valerie facilitates effective team collaboration to deliver high-quality built environments. As the primary client contact, she ensures a positive experience throughout the design and construction process.
Valerie’s portfolio includes award-winning projects like the Orange County Sanitation District Headquarters Complex and the Cedars-Sinai Biomanufacturing Center. Actively involved in the San Diego design and business community, she participates in the San Diego Chamber of Commerce LEAD Influence 2023 cohort and presents at conferences such as the Lab Design Conference and BisNow’s Life Sciences Corporate Real Estate Conference.
A respected voice in the science and design industries, Valerie contributes to publications like Lab Manager and engages with professional organizations such as the Society for College and University Planning and the American Institute of Architects. Her commitment to excellence and community involvement underscores her dedication to advancing architecture and design.
