Anthony Mazzeo
Site Design Practice Leader
Tony leads our site design practice in Denver. He brings over 30 years of design experience on a wide range of landscape and planning project types. His work focuses on how the creative combination of landscape architecture and architecture might create new relationships between city and nature. Tony’s expertise lies in providing design solutions that are ecologically and culturally responsive while being cost-effective and economically responsible.
Tony believes that site design is at the heart of a truly integrated practice, uniquely situated for reaching across disciplinary boundaries in an attempt to interact with and influence the many factors and systems shaping human experience and the built environment.
Tony received his bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Rutgers University and his master’s from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Fine Arts. He is an adjunct faculty member at the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado Denver and a licensed landscape architect in Colorado.
