Keeping a complex remediation site safe with dedicated daily management.

Business has been shuttered on this large, New Jersey site since the ‘90s, but the site is still bustling with activity from continued investigation and remediation activities. Environmental impacts from the site’s former operations include metals in soil and sediment, and chlorinated solvents in groundwater. So the client brought us on board to help manage the site. 

Alongside the client, we’re working with other contractors to manage soil, groundwater and sediment remediation, and conducting pilot studies to uncover the best technologies for further groundwater cleanup. We stay on top of state and federal permitting to ensure environmental regulations are met, and work with everyone from the regulatory agencies to the lawn care and snow plowing services to keep the site in order. In an adjacent neighborhood, we have feet on the ground every day maintaining over 270 residential vapor mitigation systems to address the potential for vapor intrusion.
