HDR's Jacqueline Foy Promoted to Managing Principal of Kansas City Architecture Studio
Jacqueline Foy, AIA, ACHA, LEED AP has been promoted to managing principal of HDR’s Kansas City, Missouri, architecture studio.
Most recently health principal, Foy joined HDR in 2023 to establish the firm’s architectural practice in Kansas City, complementing its award-winning engineering teams. In her new role, she will lead the operation, growth strategy and success of HDR’s architecture practice in Kansas and Missouri.
“Since joining HDR two years ago, our Kansas City architecture team has completed an expansion and remodel for the Children’s Mercy Emergency Department and continues to design projects that improve the health and well-being of our community,” Foy said. “It has been a remarkable journey to grow a dynamic and multidisciplinary design team with HDR, and I’m excited to continue building on our foundational success in a new leadership role.”
Building on more than two decades of experience practicing architecture in Kansas and Missouri and being a licensed architect in four states, Foy has grown HDR’s Kansas City design practice from a team of three to more than a dozen, with specialty design disciplines in Kansas City, including health and science architecture, sports and recreation design, planning, interiors, landscape architecture, sustainability analysis and more.
“As a founding member of HDR’s Kansas City architecture team, Jacqueline has proven her ability to successfully grow, lead and manage multidisciplinary teams designing complex projects for clients that make a positive impact on Kansas City and the greater community,” said HDR's North Central Operations Manager Joseph Drimmel. “I have no doubt she will continue to lead with empathy, engage clients with strategic thinking and make a positive impact on the organic growth of Kansas City’s design community and HDR’s company culture.”
